We know what some of you are thinking and no, it's not just another '69 Camaro. We wanted to show you what the guys at COMP Cams are cooking up. With a bunch of factory backing behind it, this F-Body is being prepped for service as the company's muscle car of choice for future Hot Rod Power Tours. This special project 1969 Camaro Rally Sport - as you might imagine - has quite a bit of love poured into it as well as a bunch of cool performance stuff to boot.

Starting with an engine built by John Lingenfelter, it's a small block 410ci Bow Tie block with SB2 heads, valve covers and intake manifold from GM Performance. Inside is a 3.750-inch stroked crankshaft spinning 6.000-inch Eagle rods and 10.5 compression slugs. All the bolts and fasteners hail from ARP as all gaskets are by Fel Pro. Included too is a Rattler harmonic balancer from TCI and rocker arms and stands by T&D Machine (1.8:1 Intake/1.7:1 Exhaust). COMP Cams provided a solid Street Roller grind shaft, roller lifters, a two-piece timing cover, valve springs, titanium retainers, valve locks and push rods. What does all this mean? How about 674.9 horsepower and 559.5 ft. lbs. of torque.
Accessories include a power steering pump, pulleys, belts and brackets by KRC Power Steering, an aluminum radiator and electric fan by Griffin Racing Radiators, a starter and alternator by Powermaster, a dry cell battery by Performance Distributors, and a water pump from Howard Stewart Components. The drive line consists of a 6-speed transmission and shifter by Richmond Gear, a flywheel, pressure plate, throw out bearing and clutch assembly by Centerforce Clutches, a drive shaft by Atlanta Drive Line, the aluminum center section with ring and pinion gear by Strange and rear end housing and axles by Currie.
