Ianstein I need rep points!
Default what is there to do in Detroit area?

I'm going to be in the Detroit area on a business trip next week. (in Wixom, specifically) I'm going to be up there the 21-23 going to classes all day, but they end around 4 so I've got to kill time someway. It looks like Wixom is pretty small, but is there some place close by that I could grab a cab and go check out?

Downtown Detroit has some things to do. There are restaurants, the Renniassance Center, the casino's, greek town, mexican town, Hard Rock Cafe, quite a few decent bars, Hart Plaza, etc. Or you could go to the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village in Dearborn or the Chrysler Museum in Auburn Hills. It just depends on what you're into.

IF you are into the bar scene, Royal Oak has good places to go. Royal Oak also has some really cool restaurants.
