Just a heads up.. salt is on the roads again

I left for work around 12:30am and the roads were all covered in black ice (everything north of 15 mile). When I went up to New Baltimore there were people in the ditch and the freeway was closed, detouring traffic up Gratiot from 13 mile. Well Gratiot was a solid sheet of ice all the way to 23 mile, and the overpass over I94 was almost impossible to get over.

So anyway, long story short theres salt on the roads again.

Thankfully the ice was north of us last night, we were pretty slow, stayed in the warm office all night playing Need for Speed Carbon.

I left for work at 5AM and it was all clear from Sterling Hts. all the way to City Airport. Guy on afternoons was telling me about how bad it was last night. Sux with all the salt again. The roads just started to clean up. Hate to say it but we need more rain now

it's a double-edged sword for me too, i get called in to salt makin OT , then cuss it at it for being on my car.

whaddya gonna do ??? hopin for some serious rain though myself (but after gets warmer than 25* again....)
