Joe I need rep points!
Default My 67 C10 stepside project

This started out as a '67 Stepside driver we bought in 1991. Here is what it looked like when we first bought it:

This is what it looked like right before the big hit in April 2004. Like the 68-69 Camaro/Nova hubcaps

Chassis is a 1972 1/2 ton 5 lug, front disc, dual exhaust, GM Big Block mounts, front sway bar setup. Powdercoated gloss black from front to rear.
  • Rear fuel tank is from FuelCellGuy - www.aluminumfuelcellcom
  • Moog pitman and idler arms with local rebuilt power steering gear
  • PST Front end rebuild kit (rubber) - www.p-s-t.com
  • PST Trailing arm bushings (Poly)
  • Early Classic 4/6 drop kit - www.EarlyClassic.com
  • Rear end is a GM 12 Bolt, DTS 3.73, Posi, Moser axles - www.drivetrainspecialists.com
  • Stainless Steel Brake lines & hoses - www.InlineTube.com
  • Front fenders, rad support, grille, bed panels are all original GM metal I have located locally. Only the tailgate is reproduction.
Cab is currently awaiting some rust repair on the frame mounts, floors and corners along with some minor mods. We just started working on the powertrain this month

Young female in a black saturn coupe blew the red at 16 mile & Groesbeck. She hit me dead square in the right front wheel.
I saw her coming and hit the brakes. If I didn't I would have taken it right to the passenger door
