What are you looking to get out of it? Just the block, or do the internals come with it? Off the top of my head I don't recall if the Mach 1's come with forged internals like the 03-04 Cobra's. I'm sure the crank is forged like 99-04 Cobras, but what about the rods and pistons? I have a few things lined up for this winter and if this block comes with forged internals, I might just build that one up and throw it in my 99. Let me know.

I read on Motown that it's for an auto car. What's the difference in blocks? My car is obviously a T-45 tranny car.

Al- I"m not sure, but I think the stick shift Mach 1's got a forged crank, but the automatic ones only got a cast one. Either one will work with a stick though.

Machs have better flowing heads than our cars (Bigger valves), but the autos have lack the forged crank. Other than that its the same engine.
$700 is not a bad deal if its a running engine.

That's what I was thinking. Thanks, guys!
Anyone have a great hook up with someone who can get me all forged internals for this/my block? If so, PM me. Thanks.

this is for an auto, it was a running engine, the only difference is the stick cars have forged crank and auto have a cast, (though if your not over 550 hp it doesn't matter which one you get, and the cast is lighter and revs quicker

The cast crank is proving to be a very stout piece, forged is nice, but only really needed in a race motor. The motor in my Olds is cast, motor ran for 18 years, and it wasnt the crank that failed
