Question Anyone go to the Gratiot Cruise today?

Anyone go to the Clinton Township Gratiot cruise today? If so, how was it? Would it be worth us getting a lot next year or can you actually cruise?

Didn't get down there till around three. Traffic seemed to be moving pretty good. Didn't have a problem finding a spot to park. Saw some cool cars there!

it was ok...park was plentiful and traffic was fairly light for a cruise. Just didn't seem to be much instrest in it for some reason. But there were more cops there than any other cruise i have been to. It was impoosible to go 50 feet and not see or be next to one. I think the cruise is just to close to the WDC and the intrest in cruising that part of gratiot just isn't there. I wish roseville would just allow the cruise to happen so we could cruise from 8 mile to 16 mile just like on woodward. I think it would be bigger than the woodward cruise if it did ever happen. Woodward has too many lights were as gratiot is basically a light every half mile so the traffic would flow a bit more smoothly.

I cruised around for 40 minutes then had to go to the family reunion. Lots of available parking. More people watching than cruising. Traffic flowed pretty good so that was nice.....you could cruise at 30mph instead of park-and-go like Woodward.
