Al, the rear bumper and mirrored letters look great. I hated that Ford put Mustang on our Cobra's bumper instead of Cobra. Looks good.

Yeah, thanks again for the fair price on the bumper. I got the letters from UPR and I custom bent them to make them fit even better. As you know, the letters are a solid steeal and they're flat...our bumpers are curved, both vertically and horizintally. So, before I put the letters on the bumper, I gave them a slight bend evenly along the height and width of the letters. I too think that they turned out pretty nice. I'm glad I did the bending (even though it was a pain in the ass bending such small 20gauge steel letters) because I hate when I see guys who buy these letters then just slap them on their curved bumpers with all the far edges sticking out like crazy, catching on towels and shit. Take your time, do it right...you know?

I hear ya.....
Now you need a nice hood to finish the car off. Maybe a Saleen or an 03 Cobra hood with the vents.

I agree 100%, but I was thinking more along the lines of the 2000 R hood. The only problem is that a LOT of people have that hood, so I might not buy it for just that reason. I'll figure something out.

I didn't say the 00R hood since that's what I have. Although I've only seen it on 2 other cars in the last 2 years I've had mine.

2 cars in 2 years?!?!?! Do you drive around and spend a good portion of everyday with your eyes closed?

No one on this side of town has them then....seriously. Even at the car shows I've only seen the same car with the hood over and over again.
This year though I wasn't out much.
If I ever got another hood it would be a 6" cowl.... (Which I've seen on a 02 GT, not even painted to match, driving around with)

2 Mustangs in MPH alone already have that hood, plus I have seen quite a few other Mustangs running around with that hood on them.

I was talkng about the same "R" hood that you have. Are you talking about the bone stock green Mustang witht he prime grey 6" cowl on it? That car looks like shit, and MPH would never let a car like that in.

I think that's the one....I crack up every time I see it. It was either black or dark green. I can't remember.
What is MPH that you keep talking about? Another local club? Seriously I don't know anything about it.

THE local car club. Really we're mostly just a bunch of close friends who often hang out with each other, work on each other's cars, and so on and so forth. We're almost kind of like "family." Hell, at times we argue like family.
Oh, and the car you're talking aboiut is dark green...and I think he has Purple neon lights under the car...I could be wrong about the neon lights.
