Default powerTV to Launch Three New Online Magazines

powerTV is proud to announce the launch of three new online magazines in the performance automotive market. The new online publications will exclusively cover the Street Rod, Corvette, and Classic Chevy/Camaro Muscle Car markets, and will join powerTV’s existing five magazines.

The new online magazine line-up will be:
  • Chevy Hardcore - Classic Chevy Muscle Car & Camaro - NEW!
  • Vette Online - Late Model Corvette: C6, C5, C4 - NEW!
  • Rod Authority - Street Rod - NEW!
Slated to launch in November 2010, ChevyHardcore.com will deliver news, do-it-yourself tech, dirt-under-your-fingernails garage builds, videos, and car features targeted to the Chevy & Bowtie Enthusiast, as well as stories geared to all generations of Camaro owners.

VetteOnline.com will debut in January 2011, and be purely focused on late-model variations of America’s favorite sports car, the iconic Chevrolet Corvette. News, tech content, how-to’s, and show coverage of C6, C5, and C4 Corvettes will fill Vette Online on a daily basis.

April 2011 will introduce the newest member of the powerTV family - RodAuthority.com. Home to cherry street rods, vintage hot rods, open wheeled rails, and belly-draggin’ sleds, this new entry in the Street Rod market will bring a fresh look at the hobby that started it all.

In the last 12 months, powerTV’s existing five magazines -- StangTV.com, LSXTV.com, Dragzine.com, OneDirt.com, and StreetLegalTV.com -- have experienced a traffic increase of more than 38%. powerTV is a leading online publisher in automotive digital media. With the addition of the three new magazines, powerTV will publish eight automotive performance web sites.

Currently reaching over 300,000 unique readers per month, powerTV’s CEO James Lawrence is excited by the traffic growth: “Over three million automotive enthusiasts will visit powerTV magazines in 2010,” said Lawrence, "and the future of online publishing is brighter than ever. Automotive gear-heads everywhere love the speed of online news and new product coverage, the depth of the tech articles, and the vast amounts of rich photos and videos that only digital media can bring.”
