Have you ever worked out so hard...
...that you puked?!?!
Not just a dry heave, I'm talking straight up hurling like you just polished off 40 shots of tequila. I left my house a couple of hours ago to go to the gym to work off this rage and anger I am feeling today, weighed in, and hit the weights. And hit them heavy, hard and fast. Didn't even take enough of a break between sets to catch my breath. Worked my chest, abs, triceps, biceps, and halfway through my full back workout, I dropped my shit, told my workout partner to hold on a minute, ran to the bathroom and hurled my guts out.
That has never happened to me before. I have no idea what is going on with my head and body lately. I have all this bottled up rage, anxiety, and anger and apparently no way to release it. I mean, I can control it (I don't go off on my wife or daughter) but this isn't right. I cannot wait to go back to work this upcoming Monday. Maybe that will help me.
By the way, if my workout shoes and clothes weren't in the washer right now I would go back to the gym.

I workout.....often......and somtimes i just puke for fun........
I have puked after riding off road.... I sprinted a good 3-4 miles on a few easy trails at Bloomer park, stopped for a break and a drink of water and lost my tummy in the woods....
That was probably 6 years ago... I miss that kind of activity....
I have never actually been to the gym to workout, but I know I should find the time/money and detrermination to do so.....

Mountain biking at Stony a few years ago. I ate some food about an hour before riding really hard up an incline and we stopped for a short rest at the top and I hurled my guts out. I felt fine afterwards and I kept myself hydrated with water.

Are there any good 24 hour gyms around here? I want to work out after 10-11pm before work.

puking after working out is a big clue telling you that you're overdoing it ..... you should always gradually start up a workout program so you don't overwhelm your body.... and from the sound of it you went balls out into a workout program and shocked your body..... try backing off from your workout and drink lots of water/gatorade during your workout.... your body will be able to take it a little harder if it can recover while you're working out

if running counts..... i ran 3 miles in 18:30 in marine corps bootcamp.
i was gunning for 18:00 cuz thats the magic number... but when i got to the end... i stopped and puked , so i wasn't too mad , cuz i KNEW i gave it 100%
but on the gym note, i have met a new personal goal.
and b4 you guys all say " who gives a f@ck...i rep that" .... i only weigh 135
anyways, i put up 225 the other day , thats a lot for me. 90 lbs OVER my weight.
