so right now i a in the hospital....
broke my fibula and tibula straight through... doctor put titanuim plates,screws and a big ass rod in my leg...
now question... doc sas I can keep it in for life or have it taken out when completely healed... what should I do? has anyone ever had this done before or know anyone?
btw thanks t the ones who have stopped in and said hi or wished me better...

leave it all in. unless the screwheads bother your shoe you don't another surgury just to take it out. if it's higher..no reason to.
and besides the bone might not grow all the way back in...mine didn't.
mine is different now, cuz i had my ankle fused after...but this is what looked like when i first broke it.
