The Camaro needs to be priced pretty close to the Mustang to sell the numbers they are talking about.

The GTO failed for a few reasons, lack of styling and price. With what GM had to work with, the Holden Monaro, it was not possible to make it and import it here to the US and keep the price under $30K. While it was not affordable to the younger market, it was a nice bang for under $40K with LS1 performance and RWD chassis, something GM fans have not seen since 2002.

This car is not just a rebadged Holden, it is engineered from the ground up with Camaro in mind. It won't be anything like the last GTO IMO
