Mickey Thompson, the drag-racing, record-setting, offroad-loving legend, was recently honored with the Shav Glick Award at the NASCAR Sprint CupSeries Auto Club 400 at the Fontana Speedway. The award recognizes Californians who made valuable or distinguished contributions to the industry.
