Every once in a while some local peeps ask about a friend of mine who used to post on MM. (he used to go by KING_SNAKE) Recently he moved to Texas and (after about 3 years of having his Cobra in pieces) he now has it on the road and moving on it's own power. :lol:

Anyway, he is still training seriously and earlier week he took 8th out of 22 guys in his division. He competed at 6'1" and 256lbs. I saw him 2 days ago and he was at 275lbs. :eek: :eek5: That's a 20lb gain in roughly 2 days...which is mostly waterweight. Kinda shows how dry these guys have to get themselves for a serious competition. Talk about dedication!! Here are 8 pix from said competition...

Why is his face 5 shades lighter than the rest of his body?

PRO TAN. Basically a paint-on tan for shows like this.

Yeah, you can definitely see he was still holding some water and fat, but in previous competitions he was a lot leaner. He's a lifer and will go pro soon enough. I am sure of that!

Where is he holding fat and water at? I know nothing about body building, but I thought he looked pretty lean to me...

And for the record, I KNOW I could never even get to where Steve is in these pix. I wasn't slamming him, I was just commenting on his physique for the show he was in.
