the previous owner installed that. It's supposely a brake duct vent from a fiat. It's used a ram air intake. The air goes into the vent then through the fender and into the opening in the stock airbox.

yea the previous owner did alotof stupid stuff to the care that i had to fix or rework. He even managed to hardwire the fuel pump circuit to the battery. Idiot i tell ya. idiot!!!!

Hey maybe you could mount a leafblower in the fender for some boost
