Almost became Stangless on the way home. Did a 540on the m-14 I-275 interchange.

M/T DR's+rain = in my pants. Well, almost. Thank God the people behind me saw it coming otherwise I would have got T-boned.

After that I got back on 275. Took the 6 mile exit, then took 6 mile to Telegraph, then Tele. to 12 mile. 12 mile across to Stephensen HWY. And I'm now sitting here at my wifes desk. I never did make it home, but I'm having my dad meet me here with my son so we can go to the Tiger game. By the time the game is over, the rain Should be gone and the raods should be o.k.

Had a great time (even though that track sucks ass), and glad to finally put some face to names. I'm done running at Milan, til the get a new track surface down and some people than know how to run it.


Like I said, I just had fun talk and meeting those of you who I met!


And yeah that's total b.s. that they didn't pass you at tech Lisa. But , rules are rules.

Did your car run slower than you expected, triplewhite?

My best time today was just over 3 tenths slower than my old best time on street tires.. and I used drag radials today.

Just wanted to thank After Hours Street Association for hosting this rental with us.

Nice meeting the new people too, you guys have some pretty sweet rides, we are glad you all made it out.

As for the track, i don't think we'll be going back there any time soon. The tree's by the starting line are dead, and the leaves were all over the place hindering traction. Also it was our understanding that the concession stand would be open and it wasn't, which was a total bummer in almost 90* heat, not to mention missing lunch (don't mess with a fat guys meals!! ).

All and all it was a good turnout and everyone had fun (well except Lisa lol), so it was worth it and we'll definitely look into doing it again at another track.

After I got home, I found what looks like a big boil with some of the rubber cracked on the inside of one of my tires. Guess I should consider myself lucky it didn't blow at the track. And that was my first and last experience with used tires..

I had a good time tunning my car and it was fun racing with the AHSRA fellow racers. Even the guys that run the big tire cars.

I didn't know about the tech but they knew me from the friday night outlaw races and he just asked me if I changed anything. Sorry to hear someone couldn't run but rules are rules and they keep all of us safe.

Just wanted to say I had a lot of fun today, hopefully when my truck gets fully tuned in, there will be better times. Milan is probably one of the better tracks in michigan.
