My heap
Here's a few pic's to get things started. I had to repair some rot in the frame rail below the drivers side strut tower. You can where see I cut it out and refinished it. Turned out pretty good. I POR-15'd it after that. You can also see I filled in the a/c holes in the firewall and also smoothed the cowl. Santa bought me a bead roller for x-mas so I'll make some panels for the front of the engine compartment to cover up that mess.

Here's a pic of the full length 2 X 3 connectors I'm putting in. I'm also replacing all of the floor as well. I picked up a floorpan from a MM member. It only cost $20. I'm using the middle section and a few other pieces. The stuff I can't use I'll fab myself. I still have to install the front outrigger. I'll do that once I figure out where my roll cage tube is going to be hitting the floor.

No idea where it's going to shift at. 7,200 is doubtful.

This is a .125" plate that I had fabbed at the local sheetmetal shop. Instead of just welding in a flat piece of plate to the inner rocker I had it bent to follow the countour of the inner rocker panel. It will run from near the bottom of the inner rocker and go up and over the top of the inner rocker. I'm not sure if it'll be any stronger, but I figured what the heck.

Thanks guys. It's getting there slowly but surely. Once I get the passenger side frame rail done, things will really start moving along.

I managed to make it out to the garage for a couple hours today. The drivers side is 99.99% complete. A couple more welds then it's on to the other side. I'm hoping to have a roller again in about three more weeks.
