maybe, but its more of a fun street car. If I go to the track.....I'll just want to go faster....and before I know it I will be converting to a super street car or outlaw radial. Its kinda like a recovering addict, the best thing for me to do it stay away from the drag strip and I will control the urge .

I forgot about that......there was a time in 2001 where the car was unknown and we had some real fun.

I remember the firebird......and on the way to that race on Groesbeck I whooped up on a GN and made a guy riding a 900RR look like this..... Because the instant power of the blower, I rarely remember loosing, but I also rarely ever looked for a race. I had more fun cruising and just running from a roll......I surprised a lot of people.....all on chrome 17" OZ (Vanilla Ice) wheels.

It will be nice to have it back out.

I did the same thing to a Mustang GT with a windsor and a T-Trim on 16 Mile Rd. I think the guy thought it was going to be a joke, man was he surpised.

It makes me want to build a sleeper, but everyone is on to sleepers...now a days.

Yes the black one. He was up at 16 and Groesbeck that night. I remember that.

I remember when that car went 10.0's. I thought it was the baddest car out. Looked so stock, nothing said race car except for the rollbar, but it was covered and you could barely see it.

yea tim's rollbar is kinda hard to see! it looks good with the cloth over it!

here are a few pics of the intake tube with the blowoff valve mounted. I also took one of the radiator, its hard to tell from the pics, but I actually tucked a C&R radiator under the core support....but to do so I had to cut off the stock lower portion and weld in a chrome moly tubular piece I got from Dave at Team Z. It really opens up the room and now the rad is out of the way.

I'm still waiting on the turbo hot parts to be coated, but once those are completed......it will go into final assembly mode and then start it up.

He should, its a money/time thing like the rest of us. Thanks for the complements, the cage is an old mild steel, but the grey tweed still looks good.

I hear you are building a bad ass Mustang with a Small Block Chevy? What's up with that....can I get a lane and the leave?

stop it, I only plan to dip into the 9's, I know your car will go into the 9's no problem.....a 400" small black with some spray......that will run at least 9.80's.....with a 150 shot.
