i got two msd boxes and i cant get a spark?? can the boxes just be bad and i need i new one?:confused:

they do go bad. which type of box?
Did you check the distributer?

could be a few things, coil, pickup in the dist. or like me the ground. spent 4hrs trying to figure it out and it was the ground wire, on my box it needs to be directly to the battery

If the're bad , just send them to MSD (Autotronics in Tx) just had mine fixed for $119. way cheaper than a new one.

I had problems with my Digital 6, in troubleshooting I found that the red led on the box wasn't flashing when I cranked it. This indicated that the pickup in the distributor was faulty! Put in a new one and it fired right up! Now I carry a spare.
