The ADRL had a record-setting day at MMP in 2009, drawing a massive, overflow crowd that was believed to have broken single-day attendance records for the track. It was a tremendous hit and everyone at the ADRL was sad to see the park get closed following the year.That’s not the only layer, either. Former MMP track vice president and general manager Jason Rittenberry is now the President of Palm Beach International Raceway, where the ADRL will visit for the first time in 2011 (April 15-16). The CEO of PBIR, Joe Lubeck, is also the man behind the purchase of MMP, which seems to be great news for the ADRL, considering the strong relationship that has recently been formed between the ADRL and PBIR. If the bid is accepted - and that may still be an if - that will be nothing but good news. Could it fill in the spot as the 10th race in the ADRL’s 2011 schedule?
