Hunnicutt, Todd, Al-Balooshi Winners In Round 2; Matt Smith To Drive Al-Thani’s PX Ca

There was plenty of interesting news coming out of Qatar today during eliminations for Round 2 of the Arabian Drag Racing League at Qatar Racing Club.The biggest, though, included the Round 2 winners - J.R. Todd in Pro Extreme, Khalid Al-Balooshi in Pro Nitrous and Rob Hunnicutt (pictured) in Pro Extreme Motorcycle.Hunnicutt went 4.20 to beat Billy Vose in the finals, while Al-Balooshi went 3.83 in PN.Both Frankie Taylor and Todd had a rough time of it in the PX finals, but Taylor broke at the starting line while Todd had just enough to reach the finish line in 15.67. It’s a rewarding win for Todd, who just got behind the wheel of his new PX Camaro a little more than a week ago.
