Thoughts And Well Wishes Needed For Carpenter Family

The drug used for treatment of the stroke produced an adverse side effect, causing hemorrhaging in the brain.She has been unconscious since that time and is currently in intensive care.“We’re facing the toughest thing we ever have in our lives,” Charles said. “You just don’t know what tomorrow promises at this point.“We’re just waiting and hoping. It’s been a really tough and trying time for us. She is definitely the backbone of my life. That’s the only thing that can save her right now.”The outpouring of support from the racing and ADRL community has also touched Carpenter.“I’ve gotten a lot of nice calls and warm wishes from a lot of drivers and I really appreciate that very much,” Carpenter said.As a result of all of this, Carpenter will understandably not be participating in this weekend’s LenMar Motorsports ADRL World Finals VI.
