Your agent is finding out that an injury isn’t keeping Pete Berner (pictured) from moving forward. If you recall, Berner was involved in a non-racing accident that saw his car get totaled just a week before the Hardee’s Gateway Drags III.Your agent was amazed to see that he was still able to race, though it wasn’t exactly a memorable weekend. As Berner and his Summit Racing Equipment team dropped to eighth in the points in a tight Extreme Pro Stock division, your agent found out Berner wasn’t wasting time to do something about it. His team has hired Tommy Sevier to be the new car chief.“He’s been around Pro Stock for a long time and knows a lot about car set up,” Berner told your agent. “He’ll be a great asset to this Summit team and we’re really looking forward to having him on board. We can’t wait to get back to the track!”Berner will be racing at Simpson Dragstock VII at Rockingham Dragway on Sept. 10-11 and the time in between races should allow him to heal even more.http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/ADRLAgent660/~4/ZMZQSeNNuao
