Fight Me Main-Eventers Enjoy ADRL Action

Jesse Finney (right) has been in the ring and cage with elite kickboxers and mixed martial artists.?But he was still shocked when it came to the power of the doorslammers at the ADRL’s Gateway Drags III last weekend.“I’ve never been to a race before and actually I’m blown away by this,” Finney said. “It’s awesome to have this in our backyard. How big this audience is just blows me away.”?Finney, a St. Louis native, is hoping for another big crowd in one week when he fights Josh Neer in the main event of Fight Me MMA’s debut event, “Fight Me 1: The Battle Begins! Finney vs. Neer,” which takes place Aug. 14 at the Family Arena in St. Charles, MO.?From the reaction he and Neer both got at Gateway International Raceway, that shouldn’t be a problem.?The two marquee fighters signed autographs and took pictures with a mass of fans on Saturday, many of whom couldn’t wait until next week’s explosive event.?“There’s a great buzz in St. Louis and I’m definitely excited,” Finney said. “I have everything to gain here.”?Like Finney, Neer was just as amazed with the fan turnout at (GIR). Neer, a UFC veteran, stood on the starting line for a Pro Extreme pass and enjoyed every minute of the action.?“This is crazy.
