Well I pulled my motor the other day and I disassembled the motor today and my timing chain oiller and it was completely clogged up and my timing chain was bone dry, I didn't think about it till I saw some one talking abotu in at a oldsmobile forum. If its clogged or inlarged to big it will cause low oil pressure and ticking if the oil isn't getting on my chain I think I found my ticking noise. It took a while to clean, a matter a fact I had to use a strong thin wire and worked if through the hole, man that crude was hardened in. I pulled the cam anyways and all the bearsing, cam, and lifters look good. I'm going to repaint the motor and headers, get a new timing set, and install a higher stall torque converter and I should be good to go

And also something nice that I found before it got to be a problem but one of my valve retainer keys got all bent up and a couple others aren't sitting right, I guess that happened the night I was out racing before all this crap happened
