Instead of taking over Cobra Freaks thread.
The 03 dual pumps would work in the 99 tank, but there is no baffling to prevent fuel starvation. The pumps could suck the fuel dry causing a momentary lean condition....boom. I've heard people just don't let the tank get below a 1/2 tank.
Porting heads....$700 for a bowl port and like a $1,000 or so for a full P&P. There would be some R&R labor too. Not worth it to this alone...wait until you have other reasons to pull the motor apart IMHO.
The Kenny Bell Boost-A-Pump is offered in a 20 volt and 40 volt configuration....go with the 40 volt.
