Your agent shared a laugh with Pro Extreme standout Gaylen Smith in the pits in the moments after the rain halted action at the ADRL Hardee’s Independence Drags IV at Heartland Park Topeka.Smith made the last run in the class, winning a first round matchup in final eliminations before the rain came in full force. Smith didn’t quite miss all of it, either.“Some rain was hitting the windshield at the end of the track,” Smith said with a laugh. “It reminded me of my street racing days. But we were never in danger.”Smith was more pleased with running a 3.75 to advance, which comes on the heels of being the No. 1 qualifier at the Summer Drags in June.“There’s so many good drivers, just to get in the top 16 is an accomplishment in itself,” Smith said. http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/ADRLAgent660/~4/FQX01N72b5Y
