Your agent got the unfortunate news that another Pro Extreme Motorcycle driver is having some unfortunate luck.Chuck Wilburn was hoping to race at this weekend’s ADRL Hardee’s Independence Drags IV at Heartland Park Topeka, but your agent found out that Wilburn will have to miss his second straight race. After suffering through a number of cylinder issues earlier this year, Wilburn and his team corrected the problem. But in testing for Topeka, a rod snapped and exited the engine at 7,500 rpm just one second into the pull. Your agent found out at the time it snapped, the bike had made more power than it ever had before on any full pull. Talk about potential!“We hated that it happened but we are really excited about the new-found power,” Wilburn said. “The damage to the engine was pretty severe so we’ll be down another event trying to get everything repaired. I’m really hoping to be able to go back to Houston.”Your agent commends Wilburn for his positive outlook through all these difficulties and hopes to see him in Houston.http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/ADRLAgent660/~4/sFPUFRjcsgw
