Pretty much done, I need to pickup some epoxy to do some finish work on my manifold. After that I plan to fire the bitch and see how she sounds. It still will need the fuel pump installed come spring.

Uhhh, I did some more searching. These pumps are going for $400.00 new? Geez. Lets see if I can find one at a junk yard out of a wrecked 03. There's gotta be a few of those wrecked now that the roads have been covered in shit...

Any idea what labor would run on the swap?

Yep, ran the stocker without any issue. If you plant to spray over 125 you may want to consider a BAP or a better fuel pump. I would most likely toss a BAP at it and go from there.

Al, for spray, like Jamie said, the stock pumps are fine....if needed, get a BAP for that little extra kick from the pumps.

An 03 dual pump is around $300-$350 and the tank is another $350. Not cheap....but way over kill for your Nitrous needs IMHO.

Don't forget Al is going twin turbo's down the road so he can go overkill now and save later :D

Well, if that's the case, go big now....why spend the money twice. I learned that the hardway on a few things.

But, with twin turbo's and decent boost, he might as well do the following now:

Forge the bottom end
Port the heads
Upgrade the oil pump gears
Lower the compression
Solid axle
New tranny
Convert from returnless to a return style fuel system.

Convert from returnless to a return style fuel system.
No need to lower the compression.. Keeping the compression around 8.5-1 to 9.5 would be the optimal for spool up of the turbos....
