Your Agent was speaking this morning with former two-time ADRL Pro Extreme World Champion Jason Scruggs, who said he wouldn’t be surprised to see records fall this weekend at Virginia Motorsports Park during the ADRL Speedtech U.S. Drags III.“There are a whole bunch of cars capable of 3.60s and low 3.70s and I’ve said all along that we’ll see these cars go into the 3.50s soon,” Scruggs told your Agent.Though stopping short of predicting such an epic run in Virginia, Scruggs, who holds the official class records of 3.66 seconds and 207.43 mph with his Garret Race Cars-built ‘68 Camaro, says if the weather cooperates it’s certainly a possibility.“I’ve never raced at Virginia in May, it was July when we were there last year,” he pointed out, “but if a front moves in, especially for the night session on Friday, and it brings cooler but dry air with it, then yeah, I think it could happen. I certainly think it’s more possible there in May than at some of the other tracks we run at.”(ADRL/Tocher file photo)http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/ADRLAgent660/~4/zunXlC0_U_k
