During qualifiying for the GatorNationals, Andrew Hines, on his Screamin Eagle Harley ProStock Motorcycle, was the first rider to break into the 6 second barrier during a sanctioned National Event. He ran a 6.997 at 196 to earn a spot in the record books, and a $10000 bonus for being the 1st. And it was a Harley, not a Suzuki or a Kawasaki.

ProStock Car got a new ET and Speed record today as well. Greg Anderson ran a 6.63 at 208, after breaking the record in the first round with a 6.64 at 207. Even the Nitro guys are flying, even with the new equipment and spec motors designed to slow them down, two of the Kallita cars are in the 4.48's at 327-331, 1/8 mile clocks read 3.0 and 277, now thats flyin.
