I am starting to get sick of eating right and working out as much as I do.
The old adage holds true, no pain no gain. True in the gym and what you do outside the gym.

To tell you the truth. The first 7 months of this journey for me was very strict and 5-6 days a week. I then got in a funk and realized that this isnt a job for me, this is just a hobby and a way to get rid of my aggression from the normal day to day stressful life. I then cut the workouts to 4 days a week, 1-1.5 hours long(depending on cardio) My diet is good, not great, but I do enjoy the snack here and there. Only thing I do not eat is fast food which is junk anyways and NOBODY should be eating it. I do eat alot of fun things from day to day that make me feel like I'm eating total junk but in reality I am not. When I started to get burnt out from the "TOO MUCH" syndrome I cut things down and got back to reality which made me enjoy it so much more. I feel like I have made much better gains since I got real with my program.

I need to get back at it hard tomorrow. I've been slacking this past month, but for good reason. I went and bought more supplements yesterday, and its time to work hard again. 2 hrs a day, 7 days a week. I'm still way way way over weight. Its not a matter of fun for me.

It depends what you are going after. Like Jsxtreme said...Its not a matter of fun for him. He wants to and has to work hard an eat right to reach the goals he as set for himself. Whereas others work out and eat right as a hobby, whether it is body building competition, just plain old looking big and strong, self defense, intimidation, looking good with shirt off/tighter shirts....etc. Well, it is hard to keep going month after month if that is the only reason you are working out and eating right. The reasons I have listed are some of the reasons I was working out and the same reasons I stopped. I haven't touch a weight in a few months. I want to get back in it, but have no real reason.
