I was curious as to whether this board had a code option that allows only one sig per poster, per page.

For those who don't know what I'm talking about, it's a board option that automatically allows a poster to only post their sig once per page. If a board member has their "posts per page" set to "10" and let's say I post in that thread 5 times within those 10 posts then he/she only sees my sig once. The same rules apply to those members who have their "posts per page" set to 20, 30, 40, etc...they only see another's poster's sig once per page...whether it be 10 posts or 40 posts.

Is this something that is automatically built into the VBB boards and is it just not active, does DR.net not have this option, do you have it and just don't want it? I was wondering if that was something that the board members/mods/admins wanted and just never addressed.

Al,

If your going to dupe your post from Motown to here atleast take out the Motown reference. This would be DR, not MM.

That is not a feature that is in the Vbulletin options. However, there is a hack for it that can be installed.

Anyways, it's a very good suggestion. We haven't put much thought into it yet, but if you guys/gals would like to see a signature only once per page let me know and I can set it up.

A simple, "yes, I'd like that option" would have done just fine. And the main reason why I put this up was out of courtesy to others. While I try to remember to shut off my sig in a page I have already replied in, I often forget. But I'm not erasing it or shutting it off.
