Is ALL the cholesterol in eggs in the yoke? I eat hardboiled eggs, but I don't eat yoke, just the whites. My carton said 1 egg had 6 grams of protein, so I eat 2 as a snack at 10am everyday. I usually eat tuna or chicken for lunch to get more protein.

YES.....if you eat just the white...usually you will get 3-4 grams of protein depending on the size of egg. I would eat 4-5 as a snack. 2 isnt enough protein....

OK, cool, thanks. I figured that it wasn't enough. I will have to buy more this weekend. I gotta peel them at home though, it's a pain in the ass to do at work!:D
I usually cook 3 eggs scrambled, three whites and one yolk only, as part of a breakfast :D

all protein hold amino's...just depends on quality of protein...egg protein is good source

Just bought two cartons of Jumbo Eggs!! Those have 8 grams of protein each. I boiled some last night and ate 4 this morning...no yokes though. Those were pretty filling.

I eat 10 egg whites every morning...it barely fills me up. plus the wife eats 4 too.

I take the Xyience Protein...which has whey protein and egg protein(25 grams total) 1mg of Cholesterol, 110 Calories, and 2 grams of sugar per serving. I like the chocolate better than the Vanilla. With the GNC discount it is just under 30 bucks for a 3lb jug. You can definately taste the egg in the Vanilla, which I didn't like, but you cannot taste it in the Chocolate one.
What kind do you guys take?

I don't eat the yokes either. First they are all the "bad stuff", second, they are just sick! I have hated them since I was a kid!
So 8 dozen eggs a week eh?? That is about 16 a day!!!

yep...I eat ten for my breakfast without fail 7 days a week...the wife does 4 or so...
I make a lot of other recipes during the week that I add egg whites to
Brown rice with eggwhites...
hardboilded on salads..
i use a lot of eggwhites...

Before, I would be hungry at 9am, eat a fruit cup, hungry at 10am, eat some crackers, hungry at 11am...etc....now I am not hungry, I feel better, I even have went up from 177-182lbs. I have been doing this for 2-1/2 weeks now.

Yep, you were right! I should buy 3 or 4 dozen a week because I want to eat more....I am pumped, and I just added 10 more pounds to my easy curl bar last night. I did the same amount reps and sets as before...so I might add more. With 60lbs I used to do 3 sets...reps were 10, 10, then 8..( got tired) Last night I used 70lbs doing the same thing..effortlessly. Should I add more weight, or change the rep/sets?? Thanks....

What do guys like you and LITTLEMAGS work out with...I know you are both bigger guys, but I am just curious on how much more it is.
I train at home, so I don't see other people at the gym or anything like that.

One thing I did notice was that you do your skullcrushers with a 45lb bar.
I personally usually START with 125lbs on the crooked barbell and I use close grip. I usually work my way up to 165lbs or so, then work my way back down to about 95lbs or so.
Just an example.

We must have been typing at the same time, and I posted after you!! I used 60lbs last night and finished my sets. Much more burn today than with 45 last week.
165lbs??...so I guess you guys are beasts!!!

Not at all. My weights are filled with air. They SAY 165lbs, but really are SIGNIFICANTLY less.

hey svt, i start with 70 for 12, then i go 80 for 10, and 90 for 8. then i go back down to 70 and try to get my 12 again. now mind you that i only have 17.5 inch arms, but they are 37 inches long. thats for my bent bar curling. for my skull crushers i use the ropes on the push down machine. with that i start at 50 for 12, then 65 for 10 and finally 80 for 8.

That's good weight for curling. I can handle the 70 no problem, but for me to move up to 80, then 90....AND do as many reps as you.....I may need to try that in a few weeks or a month. My 70 was 10, 10, 8. My 8 was really 6 good, then 2 back leaning/a lot of ugly facial expressions...:D My arms are 15 inches up from 14-3/4.
I never realized the rope pull down is the same thing as laying on the bench doing it over your head. Over my head I did the 60...hit hurts my elbows though, more than it burns my triceps. Rope pull down, 50 is good for me for all 3 sets....65 then 80 is really good, I couldn't work out with that as of now. Thanks for letting me know!
