View Full Version : 3 Day Mission. Operation: Metabolism shock!

I was told by a competitive bodybuilder (who also happens to be a licensed dietician) last night that I might want to try and "shock" my system and send my metabolism through the roof. **I had a few questions for him, that's how this recommendation even came up**

He told me to eat nothing but meat and protien for the next three days. No carbs what so ever. These next three days are going to blow! :(

6:30am was half a pound of Bacon cooked to BURNED on a George Foreman and 3 eggs.

I am off to the break room right now to make a double protien shake. Lunch will be 3 small chicken breasts.

better take a fiber pill. lol...

Not how I would do it.....to much bad fats...
yeah...you will shock your body but from doing a portein only you are (what I would asume he is trying to get done) reduce total glucose to almost ketosis. Causing a swift uprise of metabolic rate..

Yesterday's food intake:

6:30am was half a pound of Bacon cooked to BURNED on a George Foreman Grill, plus and 3 eggs.
10:00am double protien shake made with 16 oz 2% milk
1:30pm 2 chicken breasts
6:30pm 16oz steak
9:00am double protien shake made with 16 oz 2% milk
10:30 pm 12 oz steak and 3 eggs
bed at 11:30pm





This morning's breakfast was 2 eggs and breast of chicken.
