Flex plate or flywheel??? to put my c4 behind my '87 302. Let me know. I got everything but that and a shifter. My 5 speed took a ****! have a few 302 parts for trade and cash. Need fast.

Randy I have a flywheel but not sure what it's out of. Do you have a part number or know how to tell if it is what you need. Will sell cheap it it is what you need. Let me know.

If Matts part isnt the right one, call D&D Transmission(not Performance), on 10 mile in Hazel Park. Inexpensive auto trans parts, including flex-plates with the correct balance for your app. Last on I got was for a 400 Chevy, but was only 35-40 dollars(new)

Found out it was for a 85 351w f250 auto (not sure on trans type). I'd check into the place Strtracer mentioned. For 35-40 you know youll get a good one.

It might, one catalog(B&M) shows different patr#'s, but Hughes shows the same part #.
Youre gonna have to match the flexplate to the converter to see if the mounting wholes line up. It has to be 50oz balance(all 5.0s are), and you need to know whether you need 157 tooth or 164(That depends on the size of the bellhousing and which block/starter plate youre using.
