Another Drunk Driving Story...

My brother's ex-g/f I guess was drinking last night at 8mile and schoenherr and she decided to drive after she drank a 12pack of beer and 4 mixed drinks over the course of the night... Well she ended up crashing at 9mile and I-75... She isn't doing so good... :( Guys don't drink and drive please... :(

A lot of people binge drink like that to help deal with their personal issues. She may have some problems we don't know about, and I know its no excuse to drink and drive, but at least have a little sympathy for someone that fucked up :P

I'd say i'm sorry to hear it but I really don't have sympathy for her. I do have sympathy for those who care about her though.

My buddy got a DUI once and I was sympathetic to him until I asked what he blew. He said a .15 and I said he definitely deserved that one. Sat in a cell for 15 hours to sober up and went to work the next day.

Her parents fight all the time, she use to do drugs which she got out of... Her fucking ex-b/f(NOT MY BROTHER) fucked with her head and physically abused her... She goes into deep depression a lot... She's so fucking beautiful and she doesn't fucking know it... I shit you not, she's such a awesome/faithful girl that if I had the choice of taking her over my car I would sell my car be with her... then rebuy my car back... :naughty:

This is a horrible position to be put in, but the fact is that there is help available for all her problems. I hope she survives and is not crippled in anyway, but self medicating is one thing, self medicating and driving is another. I hope she has a chance to learn a lesson(the hard way), and that others can learn from it too. .08 is the limit, thats 2 drinks in a hour for a small girl, 3 for a medium sized guy, where do you think her BAL was at. Thankfully she wont be facing any murder/manslaughter charges. If she is like you say, this isnt the first time she's driven in this condition

You can try everything Reiko, but until she realizes there's another path, all you can do is watch. This is an excellent opportunity to get in her face about it, it might not seem like the nice thing to do, but shock value is worth a lot when it comes to changing someones behavior. My dad totaled 4 cars before the state yanked his license permanently, fortunately, he never injured anybody but himself. He never did figure it out.

I've been through similar situations with friends so while on this subject I just want to say.... "Watching over" someone, trying to get them to change, or enter rehab might be a good thing in your eyes but might only prolong the inevitible. If someone wants to change, they need to do it on their own, in their own time, and at their own pace. People can only be a great friend and help along the way. Some will change...others not so lucky.

You wouldn't believe how many peoples cars we get that we know.......hell we lived in our new house for like 3 months and ended up getting the neighbor across the street(the one with the hot daughter with the porn star name(although it's her real name)) when he was involved in an accident.
