first and foremost noone was hurt
Well i been out working here in Kansas City. Just got a call my daughter was turning left on to utica from moravine, she had the left turn green arrow, someone blew thru the red, smacked my truck(2006 dodge ram 1500 big horn), i hear it just about tore the rear end off it.
wonder if they will fix it or total it. AAA blue book is saying 27,775.00 is what its worth.

Glad to hear shes ok.
As for the truck, you'd be better off if its totalled. They're never the same after a heavy impact to the frame.
I'm sure the repair will call for R&R'ing the frame so it should be a total.

Did you get GAP insurance on the loan? (please say yes.. :hide: )

I'll agree. Way back in 1995, I had a nice 1992 Silverado 1500. It was hit the right side. I picked it up from the body shop and traded it in 3 days later. They are never the same :(

Noper do not have the GAP insurance. But i only owe about 15,000.00 on it. so if they pay off the 27 should be good.

Not enough people do.
If you buy a vehicle with:
A. Zero money down<rebates don't count>
B. Rolling over money
C. Long term <60 + months>
You should have GAP.
I've seen alot of people get screwed by not having it. I've had people call me after their vehicle has been stolen or totalled and ask if they could buy it. My answer is always "I offered it to you and you said NO. Just think that extra $3.00 a month would have saved you thousands". I know it's harsh, but it's the truth.
On the other hand, I had one customer last year that rolled $4,000.00 into his new purchase. The truck was totalled in an accident 3 months later. The GAP insurance cover the total payoff which included the $4000.00 roll over. He was only responsible for his insurance deductible.

Well i been out working here in Kansas City.
Is the grumpy italian working out there with you? I haven't heard from him in a while. I hung up on his voicemail a couple times, that's normally all I have to do to get him to call back.

I hate driving on Moravian, people are always swerving around uncontrolably or they are in a hurry!!! Glad your daughter is ok.
