You and I both brother. First they lay off about 300 tech guys....then they fire about 20% of their sales force....we are told every other day basically to sell because who knows what will come April (our fiscal year end).

Then today our director says they plan to hire 5 people in our group, and then this afternoon a corporate e-mail goes out saying to refer qualified people and there's a referal bonus in it for the current employee.

I just do my job and keep my head down. Fucking corporate america for you :rolleyes:

BTW, Scott, we had a posting in our building looking for 3 Diemaker/Die Tryout positions at the Kentucy truck plant. This was posted about a week or two ago. I was seriously thinking about it in spite of this siberian winter we been having over here !!!! I hate this shit more and more every year. I used over 2 Gallons of gas in my snow blower already this year !!!???!!.... anyway, did you hear anything about this job opening ???? I would rather move farther south like Atlanta or even Mexico - we got 6 guys working in mexico right now at Hermisillo ( sp ) and they seem to like it - one of them moved his family already !!!!! Ford would sell my house, pay all closing costs and real estate fees, and give me $ 15,000 for moving expenses. Not a bad deal. !!
