View Full Version : 1st cardio session in almost a month, this morning...

and it was fucking miserable!!!!! :o :mad: :( Seriously, it was fucking awful. 2 minutes in to my 30 minute cardio session I wanted off that damn eliptical machine, but I struggled through all 30 mins. The good news is that I have not gained 1 lb of fat the whole time I didn't do cardio. :D Now maybe I can drop some.

I decided last night to really get serious again and finally drop the weight I have been "talking" about dropping. Summer is around the corner and I still have 20+ lbs of fat to drop to be where I think I want to be. I keep getting focused on lifting and getting bigger and stronger, when really I just need to drop some water and fat. It's hard to go from lifting heavy and walking out of the gym swollen, to doing mostly cardio and walking out fot he gym soaking wet. I just need to find a happy medium. I can't go to the gym and NOT lift.

So this morning I got up at 5:00am, took care of the dogs, took a shower, did my hair, (no worries, it doesn't move once it's done. :lol: ) made my lunch, got my clothes pressed and ready for work, hit the gym, did my chest workout, cardio, AND abs, and showered again at the gym, all before work this morning. I got everything done and still made it to work by 9:00am.

Now all I have to do after work is hit the tanning bed and enjoy my evening. I think I will try to do my complete workout every morning from now on. Who needs sleep? :D

By the way, I weighed in this morning at 228lbs...and meeeeean. :evil:

who does their hair just to go to the gym....i mean seriously you dont need to look good while working out.....but back to the cardio topic lol....how much cardio do you do each week....i used to do a half hour a day 4 days a week....but they i heard to much cardio may cause you to start burning muscle...not just fat....so i cut my times down to 15-20 minutes a day 4 days a week still......

I do my hair before I leave because I am not going to sit in the guys locker room of a Powerhouse and bust out a blow dryer and the rest of my haircare products. I do my hair before I leave to save time...and embarassment. :lol:

And when I do my cardio it's usually 30+ mins 6-7 days a week. 15-20 mins a day, 4 days a week, likely isn't doing a damn thing to help you. Just FYI.
