Just what to let you all know that AHSA is going to Ubly on May 19th for our annual spring fling. All are invited to come hang out and or race. This is a test and tune Saturday so all of Ubly's normal rules apply. If you go look for our banner

Thanks Mike but one of the guys with a enclosed trialer is bring his grill. He bought a new grill just for the track. As always will be cooking hamburger and hotdogs and will have pop and what not. All we ask for is a donation to help cover the cost.

How's the new car working?

I've only had it on the street once since I bought it, but did hand a turbo civic his ass, well from a 20mph roll thru 3rd gear. Seems to be ready but I need to check the tune before I hit it with the 150 shot. I'm thinking 12's on motor but we'll see as soon as a damn track opens.

You got your cars ready or atleast running again?

No I have the motors and trans out of both of them. The GN motor is back together to a short block and I just tore the 440 down to the bare block. I'm going to try and have the Aspen at Ubly. It'll have a new trans and a fresh motor.

blower leaking some oil into the discharge under boost. I sent it back to Procharger for them to fix. Should have it back in about 2 weeks. Hopefully.... :eek:

IM having new subframes and headers built. No problems, just updates.

Still have to test the tko setup anyways.

Well it's a week away and I've called it quiet on trying to get my car there. The engine is still a short block. Degreeing the cam now. I'll be at Ubly but probably racing my bike

I ended up sneaking out of work early and going. It was pretty empty. Maybe 30 cars. Weather was over cast and rained at the end but all in all a good time

Well I must addmit On my 1st pass I roll up to the line all new shit to me with a the auto and a brake. So I do a burn out no biggie. Figure I'll leave off the brake at 3500 to start and shake the cob webbs again no biggie. Now the funny part get stagged hold the botton lights are coming down, last yellow lights I start to floor it and I'm like WTF its not going!!!! DUMBAZZ let go of the button...... LMAO So I let the revs come back down from about 5500-6000 grand roll it back up to 3500 and let go of the button. LMAO all the way down the track. Other than that nothing really good couple of low 11s and high 10s 4 passes until crank issues I'm guessing. But I wont know until I put some dial indicators on it. I need to bring that shit home from work monday.

Which car was yours? That TT regal was badass. Heard they came from the U.P. to run it. My buddy's car number was 22 and I know a few more cars came in after. What happen to your car?

I have the black notch, BA has grey notch, JP 67 camaro, Phil had no car there but the two red vettes he has worked on. Not sure whats wrong yet on mine but it dont look good.

Nope not yet. But the new converter worked real nice out of the hole forsure. I think it might need the gear change now cause of the high end. But the air wasnt verry helpfull either yesterday. He stayed right about the same as he ended last year. But she dose launch like a monster now.
