I just had the widshield of the Explorer tinted this morning. She looks so much better now. :cool: The feeling of driving a vehicle that is tinted 360* around you is cool...and it's a nice feel to have back. :D

I might even throw a set of 22's on there now...or maybe I will sell it. Who knows? If anyone knows of anyone with a set of chrome 22's and tires that are in great shape and have a 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern, let me know. :D Hell, even a set of Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 20's and tires would be cool and I think they are also 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern.

Same as the driver and passenger window...no tint allowed. :lol:

Actually, you are allowed a 4" strip of tint across the top of your windshield and/or you driver and passenger windows...nothing more.

So my 5% all around and 35% on the windshield would be a NO GO...if I didn't have a prescription for it of course. :cool:

What can you get away with in Michigan? I want to tint my windows in my Trailblazer, but I don't want to take a chance of getting pulled over. Hate to have a beer in me and have to go through all that field sobriety tests and shit. I do like the benefits of the tint though (cooler, easier on eyes, security, etc).

The prescription does not work anymore.

They a form at the SOS office that you need to have your doctor fill out to put a restriction on your DL. It has to be sent into Lansing and approved.

Nope, I have found CPL+ honesty (tell the cop right away you're carrying)= Get off with warning.

I got caught on 275 south at 3am doing 106 mph. I got a warning, and thats it! I also have a clean criminal history (or else I couldnt have a CPL) and driving record.

O ya they know right away. As soon as they run your plate. They dont ask you right away if you have it though, they give you a chance to be honest. They approach the vehicle a little differently too, especially at 3am in the morning. :lol:

I don't roll dirty. :D And yes, when my plate is run the cop knows before he approaches my window, that I have a firearm (or a couple firearms) on me. :lol:

I agree 100%. I have been pulled over in my truck 2 times both with 15% all around and carrying. I just turned the motor off (put my seatbelt on), rolled down BOTH windows and put my hands at 11 and 1 until the officer was at my window. After I told them I was carrying and where it was there was no problem.

Not even a question about the tint.

i can vouch for the tinted windshield.....pearl white w/ tint all the way around looks bad ass....

the tinted out charger that hackel drives is most likely an undercover cop car from my knowledge....
