I've heard that Saleen has terrible customer relations/service on some other boards a while back. Anybody hear anything on this? I like the look of the cars (mostly), but don't think thier worth 40k (and up). :confused:

If an accountant gets let go, and he has no other duties than the accounting department, either he, or someone he oversees was embezzeling. With the rumored demize of SVT, this would have been a golden opportunity for Saleen to get back business it lossed to Ford via the Cobra.

I know their body parts are for shit....the saleen side scoops I have took more prep work than the R hood I got from Cervini's.

Even on actual Saleen Mustangs....the paint starts to crack off after a couple of years.

They might be worth something down the road, but with how much they cost to begin with I don't really see how. For 40 or 50k you could have a badass car built that would kill a Saleen! 99SVTAddict you're not the first one I've heard that from. I guess you are just paying for the Saleen name.

Funny thing you bring this topic up, my friend told me this exact story. He didn't say why b/c I dont think he knew but told me that they were fired and something about the FBI was snooping around the place!

strange shit, i was reading a book on old saleens and a couple here in midland mich own the 3rd 85 made or maybe the 1st i forget. I have never seen it but its in the book. I guess they used to autox it, but I havent seem them and I have been to nearly every event in 5 years
