From a truck forum I frequent

To sum up the story on these pics, they're from somebody who lives in Martin, MI, 30 minutes south of Grand Rapids. They were taken by looking out their slider to their back deck. Apparently their kids were playing with their house cat on the floor inside and this caught the cat's attention.
The person that sent these photos to me claims they came from somebody who is a friend of his family.
No matter where they came from it'd make me kind of nervous

that's actually pretty cool. We haven't had even a report of anything but bobcats in PA in a very long time. I would love to see a mountain lion in real life... and not just because I go to Penn State

I would crack the door open, put my foot at the bottom of it so it could not be pushed open, and start shooting!!!!!

Dude as soon as you'd crack the door open that cat you be either gone or in your house. Their stronger and faster then you think.

Thats a young lion in those pics. A full grown one will weigh about 150 to 200lb. I wouldnt mind having one for a pet. Im sure it could protect the house alot better than some doberman or rot. Too bad you need a special license and facility to own one. People can get past a dog, but nobody fucks with a lion :D.

I guess it was about two years ago a Mountain Lion was spotted in a tree across the street from my parents house. someone called the police, they got there and said this is animal control's job. Animal control got there and said, WTF do you want us to do about it? They did have anything to tranquilize something that big. So the police came back out and shot it.
