Keep in mind that 90% of all trans shops are ripoff artists. Most people don't know the 1st thing about taking a trans apart. With that in mind they can charge you out the ass then just put basic parts in your trans to make it work. I used to work at a trans shop and seen it happen all the time.

If you want to take it somewhere I know a guy thats excellent with TH350's but he works for Royal in Roseville on 12/Utica. His name is Dave. I don't know what kind of prices he can get you because hes just a builder, but I know his work on those transes and they hold up to hard abuse. A few examples: Scott Koresky's IROC had a TH350 in it that Dave built and it went 10's with that trans and held up for 3 seasons and was sold in good working condition. Daves brother has a mud bogger that the trans lasted thru 4 seasons of that abuse. He knows how to make them last.

Took my C4 to Masta' Performance in milford. Works out of his polebarn. He is a legit business. Did great work and charged me $350 for a new input shaft and to go thru the trans (bands, etc.)

If you're bringing in the trans the price should work out like this:

Bench labor- $150-$200
Soft parts- $75-$100
+ any hard parts that are damaged or you want upgraded.
You should still be way under $500 by the time its built the way you want it.

I'll look and see if I have his number. You might be able to get it by calling information.
