Something that drives me crazy is when you post something for sale and someone elso who has no intention of buying it tells you it's too much, they can get one for $20,etc. If ya think craps to much DON'T POST. I hate people that all they do is go around and f$%^ up other peoples posts!!! I haven't had to deal with that on this site, which is nice! Anybody else ever had to deal with this? Please feel free to weigh in on this. Now I feel a little better. :P

That would piss me off as well. Some people are posting outrageously overpriced cars or parts and need to be put in line sometimes.
Case in point - some dude on the Corral (that should tell you enough about it) had a '92 Calypso green 4 banger with like 22k original miles for some completely unreasonable price and was lying about the paint code. I didn't mention the price but I had to bring up the paint code discrepancy.

I agree. I won't bust on someone on price but will correct them on years, part#,etc.

This is exactly why I made it a rule for the garage sale to not booger up someone elses thread. Some people know it all, and have to let other people know that they know it all. When I get a post like that for something Im selling(about price), I ignore it, sorta takes the wind out of their sails if no one responds, but it is irratating as all hell to have someone tell you how to sell something. If youve got an honest suggestion for someone, send it in a PM.

Ya, people with too much time on their hands.
It's too much...
Will you take $1 shipped?
Will this work in a XX car?
Look, either you want it or you don't....move on.

Back in the day, we used swap meets, so everything was face to face
DUDE: I can get this for $xxx all day long.
ME: Then you should go buy them, and make some money, cause I get $xxx.

Person:My brother,uncle,friend can get this for $1
Me: Give me their number so I can go buy it.
or
Me: Then why did you drive an hour here?
Whats great is when people ask for a warranty. Um you're not buying the part new buddy, as is. I swear dealing with people just drains the crap outta.

I have on occasion made comment on someones for sale thread if they were just trying to rip someone off. Thats pretty rare tho, becaue most people on the net looking for car parts already know what to expect to pay.

If someone's really intersted I could see talking about price. But you should pm the people. Posting on a thread that it's to much, etc isn't right.
Yup...I've been there. When I was selling the Cobra some crazy guy was following me around the internet telling people it was probably a totaled piece of shit and not to buy it.
