Deffiently some good racing yesterday at Stanton. I made some back to back 8.90's passes and have offically relabeled my ride as an 8 second car. Sean Made a really nice 8.78 pass but had some problems keeping the car straight at the 1000' mark the following passes. I also had some issues in the same lane at about the same mark but we had the tires down to 10 psi so we put them back to 10.5 psi and that helped keep it straight in the finals.
In the finals I raced Taner B. in his 150+ MPH 6 speed car. Taner stated in the pits that he knew he couldn't get around me but he only wanted to tree me but I had a .108 to his .132 light.
We had good weather and some good match ups. Sean went to make one last pass safter we were all done racing and he ended up breaking some rods at the 1000' mark and shutting the track down for the rest of the day.

In the am we were -200' corrected so I made a pass with 11 psi in the tires and 800lbs in the bottle (SOFT), it went 8.92 @154, the fastest pass of the day. We took the tires down to 10.5 psi and put 1000 psi NOS pressure and it spun the tires 8.98 @ 153mph. Both passes in the right lane and straight as an arrow. Once the sun got out the right lane god slick at about 1100'.

Damn Scott you have that car flying. Congrats on the win! Is that wide band o2 a big help? I've been thinking about buying one. With two cars I'd get my use out of it

Yeah it helped figure out the tune on the motor and we are still way rich on the spray. I did buy some extra jets for next year so I don't think I'll be running 9's anymore:naughty: ! I guess the plate work's too well for me to go to a fogger system.
