And found my driver's door was left open? (not all the way but enough for me to notice) :( I thought to myself that someone broken into my car.... Well I get dressed and go out to see my shift light ripped off my dash, wire's cut :mad: and my tach was also ripped down. They did not even try to steal the shit just fucked it up. So I have spent the last 2 hours fixing my tach and light and got my tach working but the ground to my light is to short. Well off to the auto part's store I go.

That sucks man... thats why I always use an aftermarket shift light with the stock tach and I always hide the light somewhere.

Call me paranoid but my cars have always had a surveillance camera on them for the past 5 years or so. Its hidden out of sight and works pretty good. If you're interested I got mine at www.x10.com and for the price they do their job and they're wireless. If you want to spend some money they have some pretty cool add ons for the system too.

Thank's, if my stock tach would work I would use it, I really only use my tach to adjust the Idle speed. But it's all fixed now. :mad:

yeah that just plain sucks ass...same thing with my camaro last fall..door was open a little bit looked inside and my whole system was gone..bastards..they were probably trying to steal the tach but got spooked or something and bailed..

Sorry, I hate that! I have been fortunate...nothing of mine has been touched in the last 9 years, I had one of my cars broken into wheni was in highschool,but i was tipped of and got everything out..lol still cost me a window though..

Happend to me about 5 months ago in my old car. They tried to rip my tach off after stealing the radio. Happend right infront of my work while we were open. Shady people in this world!! This is why I have my high tech alarm on my car now!!

It's not even safe in your own garage. If they want it, they'll break in to your garage and get it.
