I have Ameritech...Cingular buys them. I switch to AT&T...Cingular buys them too. Lol...I can't win.
Anyways, I've had many bad experiences with Cingular and I'd like to find another company if there's something better. Anything better out there? Any suggestions?

I have sprint. When I got my phone 2 years ago my minute plan was $69.95 for 1300 minutes. When I went to renew they gave me a new camera phone for free and a smokin deal on a minute plan. I got 1000 minutes for $40.00 a month plus all the perks that go with the plan. I had Cingular, and Ameritech before them and was happy with their services but to be honest Cingular and Sprint both gave me no problems.

i have the family plan with 800 weekday and with free nights/weekends starting at 7. its only 5$ for every 100 we go over, so its not bad. but the thing that pissed me off is when im sittin in my room on the 2nd floor, or on the 1st floor of my house, and my phone is roaming. it goes in and out of roaming all the time. even when im just sitting in one spot. goes from 3 bars to roaming, its seriously annoying me. im not sure if its my cell phone, or just shitty service. i have one of those samsung phones u get for $30 bucks when u sign up a plan, we got em for free.. so im guessing they are just really shitty at pickin up signals :mad:

I've heard good things about Verizon. This is coming from some friends of mine in Michigan. We have Cingular and don't much care for it, but, down here because of terrain and lack of towers, signals come and go.

I have Verizon and have been with them for five years. Good plans at reasonable rates.

I've had Sprint since 1993.
I have no home phone so it is my only phone.
No complaints. I will never switch.

Verizon all the way.. cant beat their coverage, rarely do i ever have a dropped call..had them for about years now..wont switch to anything else.

If you go with Verizon do NOT get ANY "LG" phone! What pieces of fuckin shit!!!!!!!! I hate mine. My contract is up in the next 3-4 months and I haven't decided who I'm going to go with. Reeeeeeeeally thinking about NexTel.

i've had about 3 of those LG phones and they havent been to bad..hell one of them went through the washing machine..all i did was dry it out and it still worked fine after :lol:

I was with Cingular for awhile but needed a Nextel for work. It makes organizing people a lot easier at work when they're at different locations. It's a little more expensive but i've never been happier with them.
The i860 is the only phone i'd buy and it's still a bit pricey. I'm still using the i95c until it dies, LOL.

I have nextel and got one of those boost mobile phones and just put my sim card it it!!
