car problems !!!

well on fort st. at the downriver cruise i was having all kinds of fun and doing burnouts and shit when all of a sudden my cars power got kinda weird, it was running ruff and i could hear a ticking sound so i slowly took her home. you can hear a pretty decent ticking coming from under the valve cover i think it may be a lifter or a rocker has come loose, well fun tomarrow taking thecover off and finding out. any1 else know hat it might be? the only thing i did today before this happened was i washed down the engine, put new plug wires on and adjusted my idle speed on my carb. after doing the plug wires and washing the engine my car was hard 2 turn over and i had to keep pumping the gas but it finally started and was running great half the night but not now :(

sounds like a broken valve spring.. did you over rev it at all?

popped the valve cover off today and out fell a rocker arm :mad: putting it back on now:)

everything else is intact the spring is fine i just took it for a good test drive and its all in order. my car has solid motor and trans mounts and the car shakes like a crackbaby im sure it just vibrated loose
