Got A Stupid seat belt ticket!!!!

so im up here at MSU visiting my GF and her room mate asks me if i could take her to pick up her little cousin like 2 miles away. so i do..im in the middle of campus and the MSU police polls me over and rights me a damn seat belt ticket..it pissed me off so much! oh well shit happens i guess
